Contemporary dance is a combination of Modern and Postmodern dance styles.  It explores many different dynamics and offers more freedom of movement.  The Warm-Up is similar to the Jazz and Musical Theatre Dance Class, but there is less focus on Across the Floor and more emphasis on mastering different combinations.  Most combinations either have a meaning, purpose, or tell a story.  Contemporary Dance will be an asset to a performer because their dance skills will be more mature and advanced than others.
