Ohlook Instructors
Tony Daussat

Tony Daussat has worked along side Broadway's Tituss Burgess, Daniel Reichard, Megan Sikora, Glee's Jenna Ushkowitz, Next to Normal star Adam Chanler-Berat, and Tony Award Nominate Melissa Hart, to name a few. Some of his New York credits include: Awesome 80's Prom, Minimum Wage, The Happy Embalmer, Bush of Troy, Ping-Pong Diplomacy, Underwear: A Space Musical, Hallucinating Idaho. Regional/Tours: The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Junie B. Jones, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown (Dooley Award & Column Award.) Tony has directed many plays, musicals, operas and film, and has also taught acting and improv classes for multiple companies. Jill Blalock Lord
Jill Blalock Lord is the founder and artistic director of Ohlook.  Trained as a professional opera singer, she has performed with such companies as San Francisco Opera, Ft. Worth Opera, Augusta Opera, and New Jersey Opera, as well as touring extensively across Spain and France.  Some of her favorite roles include, Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor, Violetta in La Traviata, and Rosina in The Barber of Seville.  A versatile performer she also toured the Broadway musical, The King and I as Tuptim with Stacy Keach in America and Japan and has recently been seen locally as The Witch in Into the Woods and Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret.  A native of Texas, Jill received a Vocal Performance degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, where she had obtained the prestigious Hewitt Scholarship and studied voice with the brilliant and incomparable Mary Gillas.  Mrs. Blalock Lord has the distinction of being a first place district winner and a three time regional finalist of the Metropolitan Opera Auditions.

She has directed over 70 productions since starting Ohlook, children to adult, and recently won Best Director at the National and Regional Competition levels for AACT (American Assoc. of Community Theatres) for Ohlook's production of "Dog Sees God" (which also took the prize for Best Production, Best Ensemble and Best Sound Design).

Pamela Langton

Pamela Langton is happy to be a part of the Ohlook Performing Arts staff.  She has been teaching dance in the DFW area for the last 10 years at local studios where she taught tap, ballet and jazz and was a choreographer for dance company dancers of all ages.  She has had the privilege of working at many area High Schools and Middle Schools where she choreographed many shows including, Les Miserables, Grease, Godspell, Seussical, Beauty and The Beast, Once Upon A Mattress, just to name a few.  Along with teaching, she is also a working actor represented by an area talent agency and has appeared in numerous commercials, print ads, television shows and made her big screen debut as an extra in the hit film "True Grit".  She has performed on stage at Runway Theater, Lyric Stage and in many shows with Ohlook Performing Arts and is very passionate about being performer and teaching kids to love and respect all aspects of the arts.


Lorena Phillips
Lorena Phillips began her dance training 10 years ago at Dana’s Studio of Dance in Southlake, TX and began competing competitively at the age of 14. Although starting out “late” in the dance world Lorena has overcome all expectation and surpassed all challenges set before her in the world of dance thus far. Lorena is trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Modern. She also has an extensive background in Cheerleading and Musical Theater. In high school Lorena created and operated a Musical Theater camp held at Dana’s Studio of Dance Summers 2005-2008 along side Stephen Langton and Zach Danz. Lorena won numerous awards at dance competitions and conventions under the direction of Emily Carlisle and Jeremy Keeton. Her training includes Lindy Giles, Chris Jacobsen, Sonya Tayeh, Tracy Inman, Jacqulyn Buglisi, Nick Dinicolangelo, Elena Commendador, Nick Zborowski and Pam Chu, to name a few. Lorena attended the University of Alabama as a Musical Theater Major fall 2009. Upon acceptance to the Alvin Ailey Professional Dance Program she moved to New York City a year later. Lorena is currently back in the DFW metroplex teaching and choreographing. Lorena’s mission as a dance mentor is to inspire children to explore beyond their greatest potential. She excites them to learn and accomplish their dance goals in a fun and supportive environment. She conducts herself in every aspect of her life with an eagerness to learn and grow, a positive and charismatic attitude and an openness to opportunities because… Anything is possible! 
Taylor Wallis
Taylor Wallis is very excited to be back teaching at Ohlook this year! She recently graduated from Millikin University in Decatur, IL with a B.A. in Theatre. At Millikin she was seen in a reading of the new musical Golden Gate, by Michael Kooman & Chris Dimond, along with several other productions. Some of her favorite credits at Ohlook include Little Women (Jo), Beauty and the Beast (Belle), and The Secret Garden (Martha). She played Marcy in Ohlook's producion of Dog Sees God that won the National AACT Festival. She has been teaching at Ohlook for many years, and recently directed 101 Dalmatians. Taylor also appears in the Lone Star Murder Myteries production of Waylaid at the Livery at the Texas Star Dinner Theatre.
