The Fine Arts Classes at Ohlook are second to none. We believe we have the best instructors and plan in the area. In the past 8 years we have had great success with our graduates of just our after school fine arts programs. Many of our students have been accepted into the most prestigious fine arts universities in the country and some are already working professionally. We are excited to see what our students can accomplish within this new environment!
Ohlook's Fine Arts Schedule will follow the local high school's A/B schedule to allow students that are still in public school to join us for the Fine Arts. In our first year our fine arts will be focused on students that are interested in Musical Theatre. In the future we hope to offer different "majors" such as Theatre, Technical Theatre, Dance, Art, and Orchestra as well as Visual and Media Arts.
Typical Fine Arts Schedule:
"A" Days: 1:30 - 3:00 Choir 3:00 - 4:30 Dance
"B" Days: 1:30 - 2:30 Music Theory/Keyboard Skills 2:30 - 4:30 Acting/Theatre Arts
In addition to our typical schedule we will also be bringing in professionals and instructors to workshop our students and supplement their education. Students will also go on several field-trips through out the year to professional performances, theatres, and museums.
